“I have been in the Real Estate Industry for the past 20 years, 13 of which have been in direct lending as a Mortgage Loan Officer. One day during a coaching session I asked Kirk, "Can I carve out the life that I want?”. I have a very strong work ethic and I think that I've always felt I had to keep my nose to the grindstone and work, work, work. After Kirk's immediate response of "Absolutely", we then began to explore many facets of my life using the "IF" premise i.e. "If anything were possible" or "If there was no chance of failure", etc., what would I want my life to be? Taking this basic premise we applied it against multiple areas including Family, Social, Physical and Business, among others.
Learning these concepts always feels like such an epiphany. But putting them into practice is quite another thing. But the additional tools I learned through coaching helped me think outside the box and put in place some basic principles that have allowed me to change significant old habits that were getting in the way of living my life, the life I wanted.
